This tyre is the replacement for the long standing and well respected front C17 Yellow Stripe-Medium compound-Full Knobbly
Now available in 2 compounds-SL Green (soft) and original Yellow (medium).
This tyre is a serious Adventure performer and designed for hard packed rocky/dry hard packed conditions but also very suitable for intermediate/soft type terrain.
Choose Green Compound for wet , slippery rocky terrain and Yellow compound for grass and muddier Terrains.
Primarily developed for Rallye type racing but this tyre is also used by the most serious Adventure riders when looking for a more offroad aggressive front tyre than the ETXT or ETR “PRO” Rally Star- as this is a Full Knobbly style tyre.
It is not recommended for the larger Adventure bikes- if they are primarily used over long distances on sealed roads– due to lesser rubber contact with the road surface due to its full knobbly pattern -But absolutely excels Off-Road and in all other scenarios/terrains.
Sizing-Available in 90/90 x 21 only
Suggested pairings with Rears-ETR Pro/ETXT+/C-02 /MC23 when aggressive and tough off road Front tyre performance is required.
Alternative less aggressive Option – ETR Rally “PRO”- Front – less aggressive offroad but superior onroad performance.
Alternative more aggressive Option-ETR Rally “SM” Front-Slightly more aggressive offroad-ride Onroad with care !
This tyre has upgrades to both carcass and compound over the original -to give improved performance-especially Offroad.
The top of each main knob has a unique centre recess designed to break water surface tension for enhanced performance in Onroad wet conditions and Offroad wet rock and clay terrain.
It is DOT legal -so you can ride right to where the road ends and the Adventure begins.!
Only available in size 90/90 x 21. and both versions are TT rated -must be fitted with a tube.
NOTE: This is a high performance full knobbly ADV tyre- it should be ridden Onroad with care. !
